Join us sundays at 10:30AM

At First Boynton, we understand that the normal Christian life is meant to be lived in meaningful community in a local church. We call this biblical commitment “church membership”. Committing to a local church through membership not only follows the example we have in the New Testament, but also provides the accountability, structure, and environment by which we grow together in Christ.

If you have come to faith by believing the gospel and want to join, here's how you can:

First, attend Starting Point. This three week class gives an introduction to our church's beliefs, structure, and understanding of membership. We hold this class every 3-4 months from 9:00am-10:00am on Sunday mornings. You can register for the next class here.

Second, submit a membership application. The goal of our membership application is to give our pastors a chance to hear your affirmation of the gospel, collect some simple information from you, and hear how you came to faith in Christ. You can fill out the application online here

Third, meet with a pastor. After receiving your application, one of our pastors will reach out to you to schedule a time to meet in person, hear more of your story, and answer any questions you may have about our church. If you haven’t yet been baptized, we’ll talk about this important step of obedience when we meet.

Lastly, you’ll be introduced for membership at our next Members Meeting. This is chance for our congregation to publicly commit to walking with you in Christian community and accountability.

If you have questions or want to learn more about the gospel before even coming to Starting Point, one of our elders would be eager to talk with you to help answer your questions. Whether this is a phone call, meeting after a service, or even getting coffee together, we want to help you understand more of what it means to be a follower of Christ. You can email any of our elders here.
