Our Student ministry is passionate about partnering with parents to nurture the next generation. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9am and Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.
Our Purpose: To worship God in spirit and truth. We want to see students know Christ, grow in Christ, and share Christ.
Our lives as Christians start when we are born again and come to God through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3-8; John 14:5-9). We want each student to understand the necessity of knowing Christ personally and to see them receive Him as their Lord and Savior (Acts 4:8-12; Romans 10:5-1). Therefore, we want to be a place where the Gospel is set forth plainly for people to hear and where students are being challenged and encouraged to share their faith and demonstrate the reality of their faith with their lives (1 Peter 2:9-12; 1 Peter 3:15-17).
Growing in Christ:
With Jesus Christ as our foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11), we are seeking to grow up believers in Christ who are seeing the glory of the Lord in the face Christ and being transformed into His image (2 Cor 3:18; 4:5-6) and who hear His Word and do what it says (James 1:22-25). We believe that God has revealed Himself in His Word, which addresses all areas of our lives, and so we are committed to preaching and studying God’s Word and helping students understand how it applies to their lives (2 Timothy 3:14-4:5). Growing in Christ includes both growing in our relationship with God as well as growing in our relationship with other believers (Ephesians 4:1-6; Philippians 2:1-11). We trust that God will continue the work that He has begun in the lives of students and that they will be increasingly conformed into the image of Christ, living holy lives that are pleasing to God (Matthew 7:13-23; Romans 8:29; Romans 12:1-2; Phil 1:3-6, 9-11; 1 Peter 1:14-16).
As we grow up to maturity in Christ and grow together as a family we want to see students sharing their faith with those around them, joining in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We want to be partners together in sharing the Good News with a lost world (Philippians 1:7). It is our desire that students would point others to God through both the proclamation of the Gospel and their transformed lives.
